Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience selling into or working with the Public Sector.
+ Experience in client sales/management and within the public sector space.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience building relationships and operating in a cross-functional environment.
+ Experience in SaaS sales cycles.
+ Understanding of public sector procurement processes.
+ Familiarity with Google Workspace or competing collaboration suites.
Google Workspace New Business Specialist, dedicated to expanding footprint within the State and Local Government (SLED/SLG) market. Covering a 12-state territory, instrumental in acquiring new customers by strategically partnering with a team of 21 Field Sales Representatives.
This role requires proactively building pipeline, developing strong relationships with government agencies, and collaborating effectively across internal teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Work with wider Google teams on strategies to generate and develop business results, and open up opportunities with national, regional, and local agencies and higher education customers for Google Workspace.
+ Develop fluency around the Google Workspace business process, including analyzing potential in a territory, developing structured territory plans, quarterly reviews of accounts, and involvement of cross-functional teams whose participation is critical to enterprise goals.
+ Meet directly in the field with customers and partners. Provide quotes to customers and partners to ensure the processing of Google Workspace agreements for growth opportunities.
+ Be the subject matter expert on Google Workspace in the assigned region and will partner with the Field Sales team on qualifying and working with customers.
