    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description:

    + We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assemblers.

    + The role involves working in teams of 4-5 to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish.

    + This is a full-time position with mandatory overtime.

    + Applicants must be open to working different shift start times, including early morning shifts.

    Shifts:

    1st Shift- 5:00am-1:00pm- Pay Rate: $17.97/hr.

     

    2nd Shift- 1:00pm-9:00pm- Pay Rate: $18.97/hr.

     

    3rd Shift- 9:00pm-5:00am- Pay Rate: $19.97/hr.

     

    ** Must be open to working any over during the week or on Saturday on an as needed basis depending on production demands.

    Responsibilities:

    + Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.

    + Prepare frames for the lens installer and Quality Auditor.

    + Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

    + Use small tools to insert small screws or pins to hold frames together.

    + Work with the pad printer to mix paint for pad print and fix malfunctions.

    + Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.

    + Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.

    + Set up workstations at the start of the shift, which may involve building different models each day.

    + Remain flexible as specific job duties and assembly departments may change.

    + Stand and walk throughout the shift, with comfortable shoes or insoles recommended.

    + Use small hand tools and/or power tools as required.

    + Rotate job duties on each shift to limit repetitive movements.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to stand for 8-10+ hours a day.

    + Good attendance with a three strikes mentality.

    + No prior experience required, but helpful.

    + Pass drug test (DT) and BKG check.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + Experience with hand tools, production, or mechanical assembly is advantageous.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints.

    + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California near Lake Forest.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
