Job Title: Punch Press Setup Operator
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Punch Press Setup Operator looking for a new opportunity? Join our company, which specializes in industries such as medical, aerospace, automotive, heating and cooling, and more. We are seeking a candidate with recent experience in performing setups and operating punch presses to run various metal stamping machines.
Responsibilities:
+ Set up and operate punch presses, including AIDA punch presses with progressive and one punch machines.
+ Run various metal stamping machines and perform processes such as blanking, punching, bending, drawing, and embossing.
+ Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, beryllium copper, brass, and mild steel.
+ Inspect own parts using inspection tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
+ Read and understand blueprints to perform accurate setups and operations.
Essential Skills:
+ 2+ years of recent experience in setting up and operating punch presses.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:
+ Work in a large, well-organized sheet metal shop that includes a tool making department, quality department, and production environment.
+ The facility houses numerous machines such as press brakes, punch presses, laser/turrets, and CNC machines.
+ While the environment can be loud, it is designed to support efficient and effective work processes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
