    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)

    Job Description

    As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital facilities and equipment. Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system, you will identify and correct issues related to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform building repair and maintenance for hospital facilities.

    + Identify and correct mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control system issues.

    + Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff in equipment repair and operation.

    + Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs and training.

    + Engage in educational opportunities to enhance skills.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

    + Experience with ceiling tiles, lighting, ballast, roof top units, motors, minor plumbing, and building maintenance.

    + Ability to use computerized systems for troubleshooting and diagnosing.

    + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.

    + Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Work Environment

     

    Work inside a hospital with a team of 3-4 people on the 2nd shift. The role requires working the 2nd shift ( 3 pm-11:30 pm ) including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $36.00/hr.
