Job Title: TIG Welder - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join our team as a TIG Welder, specializing in the manufacturing of stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry. This role focuses on food-grade or sanitary welds, requiring expertise in welding, grinding, fabrication, and TIG welding. The position primarily involves TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum, utilizing Lincoln and Miller welders.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum for tank production in various positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
+ Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials to meet technical specifications and create a finished product.
+ Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent issues like overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinking of parts.
+ Read and understand basic blueprints and drawings.
+ Problem-solve fabrication tasks and perform overhead welding.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of experience in TIG welding.
+ Proficiency in stainless steel welding, fitting, and assembly.
+ Familiarity with MIG welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and grinding.
+ Experience with sheet metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience in print reading and fabrication.

Work Environment
Work the 1st Shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime available after training. Voluntary overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with Fridays usually being 4-5 hours. Our facility is state-of-the-art, five times the size of the previous one, and includes full-sized showers. Employees receive a generous PTO structure with paid holidays, including their birthday off. We provide a supportive environment with clear attendance guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
