Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. You will ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role, and use tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling. Additionally, you will match ingredients to shop orders using a computer, scan gun, or other tools and processes, and follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during the production process. Proper ventilation and use of safety equipment are essential, as is developing an understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, and swabbing of equipment. Other duties will be performed as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Operate equipment to utilize raw ingredient materials precisely for flavor production.
+ Understand and follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
+ Use electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.
+ Match ingredients to shop orders using computers and other tools.
+ Verify and record information during the production process.
+ Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.
+ Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements and follow policies.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.
+ Good attitude and motivation to learn.
+ Knowledge of machine operating and production.
+ Strong emphasis on safety.
+ Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of product.
+ Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations.
+ Ability to follow procedures and directions to properly identify product and follow formulas.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.
+ Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs on a regular basis.
+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment
This role is in a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company focused on sweet flavors like strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. With only 15 people currently employed, you will need to work independently and take initiative. The work hours are from 5am to 1:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
