Job Description
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage. The role involves reviewing job folders, performing visual inspections of parts, using various hand tools for appropriate processing, and recording applicable data. Reporting problems and inaccuracies, following in-process inspection procedures, and assisting the supervisor in developing improved processes are also key responsibilities.
Responsibilities
+ Review job folder to verify area of part to be processed (masked, post processing, grit blast areas).
+ Perform visual inspection of parts for defects.
+ Use various hand tools to perform appropriate processing per work instructions and job folder.
+ Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.
+ Report all problems, inaccuracies in job folder, damaged parts, and/or post processing materials to Lead or Supervisor.
+ Follow in-process inspection procedures to verify current operation meets customer and job folder requirements.
+ Assist supervisor in developing processes to improve operations.
+ Observe all Environment, Health, and Safety Policy requirements, including keeping work area neat and orderly, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and proper disposal of waste per safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must be able to work in a sitting and standing position for extended periods of time in an office/industrial environment.
+ Manual dexterity to perform detailed post processing operations requiring steady hands and high attention to detail.
+ Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
+ Preferred experience using hand tools to perform manual processes.
+ Preferred experience working in a production environment.
+ Demonstrated organization and documentation skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
