Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Working in a glass manufacturing factory, the general production worker will manually move raw materials, products in process, and finished goods around the facility. The worker will load and unload inbound and outbound materials and orders. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs individually, or more with assistance. Attention to detail is crucial as the worker will be handling expensive custom glass panes made for high rises, corporate complexes, and schools.

Responsibilities

+ Manually move raw materials, products in process, and finished goods around the facility

+ Load and unload inbound and outbound materials and orders

+ Lift up to 50lbs individually, or more with assistance

+ Handle expensive custom glass panes with caution and attention to detail

+ Read tape measures accurately (preferred but not mandatory)

+ Ensure good attendance and reliability

Essential Skills

+ Reliability and willingness to learn

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manufacturing experience (preferred but not mandatory)

+ Ability to read a tape measure (a plus)

+ 1-2 years of warehouse experience

+ Experience with glass products (added bonus)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
