    Job Description

    Join our team as an Environmental Services Attendant, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment through high-quality cleaning services. Your dedication to hygiene will positively impact those around you, making you a vital part of our mission.

    Responsibilities

    + Clean offices, patient/resident rooms, dorms, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and other designated spaces.

    + Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office areas.

    + Perform hard-surface floor scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing, as well as carpet spotting and extraction using mechanical equipment.

    + Maintain wood floors in gymnasiums or dance studios, including cleaning, screening, stripping, sanding, and refinishing.

    + Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.

    + Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer and company standards.

    + Empty trash and garbage containers.

    + Replenish supplies and materials.

    + Change sheets and replenish linens as needed.

    + Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.

    + Drive golf carts or other vehicles as required.

    + Move furniture and set up tables and chairs.

    + Notify supervisor regarding maintenance needs.

    + Comply with all company safety and risk management policies.

    + Report accidents and injuries promptly.

    + Participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.

    + Apply OSHA and local safety requirements to all assigned work.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in cleaning, janitorial, and hospitality roles.

    + Knowledge of using cleaning chemicals safely.

    + Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a waitress, server, bartender, home health aide, janitor, or custodian is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a hospital environment with a schedule that includes evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as needed. The shift is from 3pm to 11:30pm. The dress code includes black pants (no denim, sweatpants, yoga pants, or spandex permitted), black slip-resistant shoes, and black socks. Hair must be of natural color, and a uniform shirt is provided.

    This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.19 - $18.19/hr.
