    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators to join our team and perform work for pipe and grade crews. This role involves operating heavy equipment such as excavators and dozers to support various construction projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate Excavators and Dozers efficiently.

    + Excavators must dig trenches for pipe installation for the pipe crew.

    + Grade crew operators must operate loaders, excavators, and dozers to perform rough and fine grading.

    + Excavator operation

    + Dozer operation

    + Heavy equipment operation

    + Backhoe operation

    + GPS usage in construction

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience operating heavy Caterpillar Equipment (Dozer/Excavator)

    + Experience installing pipe, stormwater lines, etc.

    + Rough grade experience

    + Commercial Construction Experience

    Work Environment

     

    Our team works 40-60 hours per week depending on weather conditions. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 or 6 pm. Projects are located around Richmond, VA, with specific sites in Chesterfield, VA, and another in the surrounding areas.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toano, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
