Warehouse Worker - Richardson, Tx

1st Shift - $20/hr

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturing company specializing in lighting and control systems as a Warehouse Worker. This role involves the assembly of kits, using hand tools and power drills, and reading basic assembly drawings. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills with soldering, which is a plus. The position requires a high level of precision and repetition, as you will work on sensors that take approximately 3.5 minutes each to complete, all while seated at a workstation.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and program devices according to predetermined components, units, subassemblies, and wiring assemblies using electronic materials and electrical equipment.

+ Conduct pre and post assembly functions, including product testing and repairing electrical products and electronic equipment to ensure they meet written specifications.

+ Collaborate with management to ensure products meet customer requirements and delivery dates.

+ Inspect and test products, assemblies, and circuits for correct operation and record results.

+ Assist as a material handler and in shipping products, showcasing flexibility in a hybrid role.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly with an electronics manufacturing company.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and understand basic assembly drawings.

+ Experience with electronic assembly and soldering is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with panel assembly, packing, inventory management, picking, and packaging.

+ Proficiency in using RF scanners and understanding of mechanical assembly and material handling.

+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled electronic manufacturing facility. The position offers a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm, ensuring a long weekend every week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
