The Position: Patient Accounts Director

Employment status: Full-Time/Exempt

Hours per two-week pay period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

+ Supervise and lead a team of 9-12 Patient Accounts professionals

+ Oversee all aspects of patient billing, including insurance claims, denial resolution, and self pay billing.

+ Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing best practices

+ Work closely with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.

+ Provide guidance, training, and support to the billing team.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

+ Strong leadership and team management skills

+ A solid understanding of patient billing practices and healthcare regulations

+ Knowledge of critical access hospital billing is a plus

Education

+ High school diploma

Certifications and Licenses

+ Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) through HFMA required within 1 year of hire

If you have experience in medical billing and are ready for a director-level position overseeing a dedicated team, we want to hear from you! This is a hands-on supervisory role focusing on the management of our billing operations. You will supervise a team of 9-12 Patient Accounts employees, ensuring that all billing processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulations.
