St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing Urology team. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with a strong focus on outpatient care, patient education, and procedural support. The APP will work in tandem with a board-certified urologist and clinical team to provide high-quality care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions, while enjoying a supportive setting and a balanced schedule.

Position Highlights:

+ Full-time, hospital-employed position within an established urology practice.

+ Provide care in both outpatient clinic and procedural settings.

+ Collaborate closely with the urologist on patient care plans, follow-ups, and minor procedures.

+ Support includes clinical assistants, nursing staff, and administrative coordination.

+ Ideal role for an APP with interest or experience in men’s/women’s urologic health, urinary disorders, or post-surgical care.

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.

+ Manage chronic and acute urologic conditions including BPH, incontinence, UTIs, stones, and more.

+ Assist in urologic procedures, minor surgeries, and post-op care.

+ Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and labs.

+ Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventative care.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.

+ Coordinate care with other providers and departments.

Qualifications:

Required Credentials - Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of New York.

Preferred Experience - Prior experience in Urology or surgical specialties preferred but not required.

Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

Skills - Strong diagnostic skills, compassionate approach, and ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

+ Base Salary Range - $120,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience).

Complexity of Work:

This role requires independent clinical judgment in evaluating and managing both common and complex urologic conditions. The provider must balance outpatient visits with procedural support and demonstrate a high level of coordination and communication with supervising physicians and support staff. Patient education and continuity of care are essential aspects of this position.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
