PLEASE APPLY VIA THE LINK BELOW:* https://necc.interviewexchange.com/jobofferdetails.jsp?JOBID=187724 *Requirements:* *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor's degree in Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education or related field * 5 months of experience in disability services management in higher education or related field. * Experience with a wide range of disabilities such as Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Chronic Illness and Psychiatric Disabilities, and individual who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. * Experience and knowledge of the laws governing disability services in higher education. * Demonstrated experience developing and facilitating disability awareness training. * Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. * Demonstrated ability to understand and deal effectively with disability-related behaviors. * Demonstrated experience collaborating with a diverse group of people. * Ability to work effectively with diverse student population and untraditional students. * Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Access, Power Point, email, LMS, Internet etc. *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Master's degree in Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education or related field * Experience with video conferencing software such as ZOOM and MS TEAMS. * Experience working in a post-secondary setting providing accommodations and services. * Ability to work well under the demands of an academic timetable; to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks; and to work independently. * Experience with Banner (by Oracle), Degree Works, EAB Navigate Software * Knowledge of assistive technology used to support individuals with disabilities. * Ability to travel between campuses. * Bilingual (Spanish/English) * Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population *EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT*: Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience has prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required for the responsibilities of this position. *BACKGROUND CHECK*: Candidates will be required to pass a CORI and SORI check as a condition of employment. * Additional Information:* *GRADE AND SALARY:* Anticipated salary range is $55,083.60 ($35.31/hour) annually with complete fringe benefit package.
