Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jersey City site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Systems + Process Data Solutions Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Sea Logistics Systems & Process Data Solutions Support Team Lead you will be primarily responsible for supporting Order Management Systems (OMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) related to B2B Data Integration. You will provide key areas of production application support, conduct product training, and offer EDI/API implementation support. You will handle tickets submitted by internal and external customers, as well as manage automated error messages for interfaces handed over to the solutions support team.

Your Responsibilities

+ Set up and support generic and customized EDI applications

+ Set up and support generic API interfaces

+ Participate in product meetings and calls to understand new features.

+ Troubleshoot applications to identify which corrective measure needs to be implemented including EDI integration issues.

+ Perform root cause analysis on various EDI payload formats (XML, CSV, X12, EDIFACT, JSON, FLATFILE).

+ Provide timely updates to all stakeholders with progress and escalate to next level SME as needed.

+ Continuously monitor and enhance existing EDI/ API interfaces – process improvements.

+ Support and collaborate on internal projects further enhancing our EDI/ API offerings.

+ Work on internal migration projects

Your Skills and Experiences

+ Degree in Computer science, information technology or supply chain logistics preferred

+ 2+ years' experience in IT/Technical Support

+ 2+ years' experience in Sea Logistics

+ 2+ years' experience with Infor Nexus, EDI, and API

+ Must have the ability to travel for business reasons

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
