Job Title: Content Information Specialist

Position Summary:
Collaborates with the Web/UX Marketing and Global Portfolio Management teams to create and maintain product-related content and attributes for websites. The individual will develop an understanding of our expansive product portfolio, categorizations, specifications, and data loading best practices to ensure consistency in the customer browsing experience. The Content Information Specialist also leads the new item loading process for our direct and indirect channel distributors. A successful candidate will have the ability to create engaging content, a keen eye for detail, a passion for data manipulation and analysis, and possess strong communication skills, working every day to continuously improve product data and processes, while driving overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Create and maintain product-related content for websites, including product headlines, text, and detailed product specifications. Organize products on the website in line with established product categories and hierarchies. Assign accurately represented product images, as well as merchandising product associations (cross-sell, upsells, and accessories). Apply the company-established standards for effective product content development as detailed in the PIM Web Ad Rubric standards.
+ Manages the overall start to finish New Product Introduction Process (NPIP) from initial SKU assignment to AS400 activation. Includes accountability for product specs, compliance info, transportation, harmonized codes, NAFTA, imagery, etc. Responsible for tracking progress throughout the full item loading process, including routing, approvals, and post-launch QA.
+ Accountable for product data integrity through new item loading as well as ongoing portfolio attribute cleaning. Owns all specification and attribute options, ensuring harmonization of selections across all brands, suppliers, and categories. Acts as the gate keeper for new spec and attribute creation.
+ Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support indirect channel product portfolios, by loading new proprietary items and updating existing ones within channel partner portals, to manifest on their distribution websites.
+ Responsible for weekly and monthly harmonization of BI/QLIK data across separate business unit ERP’s. Partner with Business Segment Leaders, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy for reporting.
+ Become a super user of our complex PIM system, as it relates to product content. Run adhoc data analysis and reports for stakeholders as needed.
Education:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited higher learning institution required or equivalent combination of experience and education (preferred area of study: business, marketing, science, or engineering).
Experience:
+ Minimum 3-5 years' experience in merchandising, data sciences, product management, or related product marketing position required.
Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of, or actual working experience in, laboratory or process/industrial products and applications preferred.
+ Experience in technical, copy writing, and website maintenance is a plus.
+ Proficient in standard computer applications, with excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience in Access is a plus. Ability to obtain, manipulate and analyze data and compile reports as needed.
+ Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and demonstrate the capacity to make appropriate decisions independently. Be able to analyze, interpret, and apply information and procedures.
+ Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate to all levels of the organization clearly and concisely.
+ Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Salary Range: $65k-$80k, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
