    What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    Design and document detailed Azure solutions including network topology, compute infrastructure, storage options, security controls, and application deployment strategies.

     

    Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and documentation.

     

    Evaluate and recommend appropriate Azure services based on business needs, considering cost optimization and performance requirements.

     

    Review and approve technical designs, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.

     

    Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of Azure solutions.

     

    Work with Digital and business teams for designing, building & operationalizing components that will grow in capability while being multi-tenant, global, scalable & highly available.

     

    Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and evaluate their suitability for the nVent’s infrastructure needs.

     

    Provide technical expertise and guidance in resolving complex infrastructure issues and outages.

    You have:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

     

    Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

     

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure.

     

    Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Azure ARC, Azure Security, and Microsoft Purview.

     

    Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.

     

    Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Powershell

     

    Ability to communicate with clarity and simplicity on technical and non-technical matters spanning from strategy through to execution

     

    Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities for self and team

     

    Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to lead & influence cross functional and multinational teams
