    Our Neuroscience Precision Measures team leads in the development of transformational medicines for Neurodegeneration, Neuropsychiatry and Ophthalmology by advancing Precision in Measurement. You can influence the future success of our Precision Neuroscience portfolio by partnering along the pipeline to ensure measurement discovery and development strategies are deeply aligned.     We are searching for a **Senior Scientist, Computational Multiomics, Precision Measures** , to be located in either Cambridge, MA; Spring House, PA or La Jolla, CA USA, and follow a weekly hybrid schedule.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Play a leading role in the application of brain atlas and spatial omics initiatives to support Target Identification and Validation for Mood Disorders, Psychosis Spectrum Disorders, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases.

    + Lead through internal and external partnerships to ensure the latest methodologies in integrative analytics across molecular data types (genetics, gene expression, proteomics) are applied to our neuroscience portfolio.

    + Remain current on the evolving landscape of neuropsychiatry, neurodegeneration, genomics, bioinformatics and AIML research.

    + Establish and maintain strong partnerships with other teams in the NS Precision Measures Organization, our high content imaging programs in the discovery organization and with our Data Science & Digital Health team

    + Partner closely with computational neuroscience and neuroimaging colleagues to establish early precision medicine strategies for portfolio programs.

    + Be an integral part of an impactful, cross-functional Precision Measures team with diverse expertise driving value end-to-end across our pipeline from discovery through development.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + PhD with 3-5 years of progressive academic or industry experience in a computational or physical science with prior experience applying advanced analytics to life sciences. A degree in a biological science with extensive application of bioinformatics methodologies will also be considered.

    + Extensive background working hands-on deriving insights from high-dimensional molecular data, particularly spatial, single cell and bulk transcriptomic, genetic or proteomic data.

    + Ability to translate data into information and strategies into executable action plans.

    + Internationally recognized track record of scientific contributions with first author publications in high-impact journals.

    + Strong programming skills and experience with common bioinformatics programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Bash) to implement workflows in HPC and cloud environments.

    + Ability to communicate technical information to a diverse audience.

    Preferred:

    + Background and experience working in Neuroscience

    + Familiarity with drug discovery and clinical development processes.

    + Knowledge of sophisticated analytic approaches in bioinformatics, artificial intelligence and machine learning linking molecular data (genetics, gene expression, proteomics) to brain circuitry (e.g. tissue specific, cell type specific, circuit specific expression), mechanisms of action and disease endophenotypes

    + Proficiency in managing workflows, priorities, and deadlines and managing multiple projects in team environments.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as organizational and time management skills.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $105,000 to 169,050. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

     

    Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

     

    Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
