    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Will be utilized as needed for supervision of sporting events (this is not a full-time position).

    + Must receive fingerprint clearance prior to the event.

    + Arrive to the game site 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

    + Maintain constant supervision over the crowd. Chaperones should be constantly moving and interacting with spectators in a positive manner.

    + Support spectators as needed.

    + Some events require set-up and breakdown of equipment/ materials.

    + Must wear a chaperone shirt at all times when on duty.

    + Abide by the rules and expectations of the facility (ie: dogs are not permitted, no food in the gymnasium, etc.).

    + Chaperones must report any code of conduct violations to the Athletic Director.

    + Monitor and engage if spectators are acting inappropriately.

    *Individuals who are interested in chaperoning will send their availability to Lorraine Beaudet, Athletic Secretary.

     

    Reports to: Chris Schiumo, Director of Athletics

     

    Salary: $50 - $75 per event
