Human Resources Intern

**Position Summary** **:** The Human Resources Intern will perform duties related to Human Resources identified special projects; ensure all assigned projects are completed on schedule, and coordinate with and provide support and or education to HR team members in relation to assigned projects. Opportunity to work with the HR umbrella department and external departments.
2025 special project – Analyzing first year turnover. Assist with developing recommendations to decrease the first year turnover rate and increase our retention of employed staff with engagement via the Wellness/Benefits team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education** **:
• Currently enrolled or recent graduate from a Marketing/Communications, Human Resources, or related Business degree program.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities** **:
• Strong Basic PC skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Customer Services skills required.
Physical Requirements** **: Light Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
