Summary

The **Fire Alarm System Apprentice** is responsible for assisting the Fire Alarm System Lead technician with the installation of fire alarm wire and devices.

Responsibilities

+ Works under the direction of the Lead Technician.

+ Assist with wire install and verifying wire is free of shorts or grounds.

+ Assist with the installation of Fire Alarm devices.

+ Assist with pre-testing the Fire Alarm System prior to final inspection.

+ Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

+ Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ Fire Alarm experience preferred but not required.

+ Strong interest in fire alarm systems and safety.

+ Basic understanding of electrical systems preferred but not required.

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

+ Knowledge of fire alarm systems preferred but not required.

+ Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
