Acute Care Surgeons to join our rapidly expanding surgicalist team!

+ Base Salary: $450,000 with the potential for additional earnings through optional extra shifts

+ $30,000 sign on bonus + annual quality bonus + relocation

+ Complete benefits package and relocation

+ This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1000 employed physicians)

+ We are in the process of growing our Acute Care Surgery service team to continue providing the highest level of specialty care available to the region

+ Join our 4 Acute Care Surgeons and a highly trained, committed support staff

+ Primary facility: BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our 24-hospital system)

+ Dedicated OR Access

+ Incredibly diverse pathology

+ Minimal Trauma ( Polytrauma is covered by Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Memphis)

+ When fully staffed, our group operates on a balanced schedule designed to support clinical excellence and physician well-being. The schedule includes:

+ 7 (24-hour call shifts per month); reimbursement for extra call taken

+ Rounding and outpatient clinic

+ Minimum of 9 consecutive days off per physician every month

+ Great sub-specialty support

+ Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach

+ Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
