    Maintenance Electrician - 2nd Shift

    Job Summary

    Edsal seeks a dynamic individual to join our team as the Maintenance Electrician responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical manufacturing equipment and machinery to support efficient operations/production

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain electrical and electronic equipment

    + Diagnose and repair electrical components of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery

    + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to electrical sources

    + Troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations

    Key Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or combination of education and experience

    + 2 - 5 years' experience performing similar duties

     

    Skills and Abilities

     

    + Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and configuration

    + Demonstrated electrical/mechanical aptitude

    + Experience with Forklift Management

    + Experience with Lockout/Tagout

    + Working knowledge of basic tools and proper use of tools

    + Experience with Box Makers and stretch wrap equipment experience a plus

    + Ability to work varying shifts

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team
