Job Title: QA Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Device Testing and Selenium for an onshore opportunity based in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate must be located in or near Chicago and available for 5 days onsite work as well as a face-to-face interview.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform manual and automated device testing across various hardware and software platforms.

+ Develop, maintain, and execute Selenium test scripts for functional and regression testing.

+ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve bugs.

+ Document and track software defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

+ Ensure testing coverage for mobile, web, and embedded platforms as needed.

+ Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills:

+ Proven experience in Device Testing – mobile and/or embedded systems.

+ Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.

+ Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

+ Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

+ Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements:

+ Must be local to Chicago, IL – onsite presence is mandatory (5 days a week).

+ Must be available for face-to-face interviews.

+ Immediate availability is a plus.
