    The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina invites qualified candidates for an open rank tenure track position in Criminology and Criminal Justice ( CRJU ), beginning August 2024. The candidate must demonstrate scholarly expertise in the area(s) of policing; Candidates whose work focuses on building the scientific evidence base for policing and demonstrates a record of building relationships with practitioners for the purposes of conducting research and implementing better organizational processes and outcomes, are especially encouraged to apply.

    Advertised Minimum Qualifications :

    An earned PhD in criminology, criminal justice, or a closely related discipline (e.g., sociology, political science, psychology, public administration) by the time of appointment. Applications from ABDs accepted.
