What We Are Looking For: Project Schedule Monitoring & Updates: * Assist in creating and maintaining an accurate, up-to-date Project Schedule. * Develop near-term milestone reminders for team members to ensure timely completion of deadlines. * Continuously update the project schedule with new data as the project progresses to ensure alignment with established timelines. Project Status Reporting: * Manage and update project status reports to reflect financial and technical progress, as provided by our Engineering staff. * Track and report on contract deliverables, providing consistent updates based on project management guidance. * Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of project status reports to stakeholders. Compliance & Risk Management: * Enforce security protocols for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ensuring compliance with FISMA, NIST guidelines, and other relevant regulations. * Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) requirements and internal policies. * Support project coordination and reporting to ensure compliance with governmental guidelines, including FARS/DFARS regulations and security protocols for handling CUI data. Procurement Activities: * Centralize and streamline procurement processes to drive operational efficiency. * Manage purchase requests, ensuring timely submission, approval, and processing. * Track and report on the status of open procurement orders, addressing delays and issues as needed. * Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely receipt and distribution of procured materials. * Oversee new vendor requests, ensuring they meet company policies and procedures. * Ensure full compliance with procurement regulations for government contracts, including FARS/DFARS. Contingent Worker Contract Administration: * Oversee contingent worker contracts, including drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and Purchase Requisitions. * Track labor hours of contingent workers according to assigned WBS tasks and report findings to management. * Advise project management on available contingent worker resources under current contracts. * Ensure seamless onboarding and integration of contingent workers into project teams. * Ensure all contingent worker contracts are fully compliant with FARs/DFARs and other government contract requirements. What You Will Bring: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience). * Government contract experience is a plus., as the role will. * 2 years in project coordination or related administrative roles, preferably in project management or procurement. Experience with government contracts is highly preferred. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word). * Strong organizational and time-management abilities. * Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management. * Experience with contingent worker contracts and labor tracking is a plus. * Understanding of government contracting and compliance requirements. **Title:** *Project Coordinator* **Location:** *CA-San Diego* **Requisition ID:** *2500004F*
