    The Brand Management team promotes and maintains the brand image across the US. It is responsible for go to market planning, management of the marketing budget, in store displays, digital content, training, and more.

     

    This role in summary

     

    KitchenAid, a global leader in small appliances, is seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Senior Brand Manager to lead our US brand and shopper marketing team. We are looking for a brand champion who can elevate our brand presence and drive growth across the United States market.

     

    This Senior Brand Manager will be the custodian of the KitchenAid brand across the US, responsible for our iconic lineup of small appliances, including stand mixers, blenders, food processors, espresso machines, and more. As a member of the US leadership team, you will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization, motivate teams, and deliver exceptional results. You will lead a team of 5 talented brand marketers with diverse expertise in brand management, marketing, and shopper marketing, and contribute actively to the leadership team by providing marketing insights and strategic recommendations. Experience in the consumer goods or appliance industry is highly valued. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of a beloved brand in a dynamic and competitive market.

     

    Your responsibilities will include

     

    + Develop and execute integrated, full-funnel marketing plans that align with the overall US strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to tailor plans to specific market needs and cultural nuances while maintaining brand consistency.

    + Lead and manage key growth projects, including new product launches, market expansion initiatives, and strategic partnerships, to drive business expansion and achieve revenue targets.

    + Integrate the latest marketing trends and technologies: Stay abreast of emerging marketing trends, digital innovations, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate them into brand strategies and campaigns to enhance effectiveness and reach target audiences in new and engaging ways.

    + Continuity with master brand, global, and D2C: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints, maintaining alignment with the master brand, global marketing initiatives, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels.

    + Maximize return on investment (ROI) of marketing spend: Manage marketing budgets effectively, analyze campaign performance, and optimize resource allocation to ensure the highest possible return on investment for all digital and traditional marketing activities.

    + Manage agency relationships: Oversee and direct the work of external agencies (e.g., advertising, PR, shopper), including contract negotiations and performance reviews, ensuring they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, while effectively representing the KitchenAid brand.

    + Champion US needs and advocate for market-specific opportunities with the global brand team: Serve as the voice of the US, effectively communicating market insights, trends, and challenges to the central brand team to influence global strategies and ensure alignment with regional priorities.

    + Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to 5 direct reports, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.

    Minimum requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience across brand management, product marketing, shopper marketing, or related functions.

    + Proven experience leading and developing teams.

     

    Preferred skills and experiences

     

    + MBA in business or a related field.

    + Experience in the small appliance or related consumer goods categories.

    + Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in brand building and market share growth.

    + Strong experience and knowledge in Digital marketing, PR and ideally Point Of Sale activations

    + Data-driven decision maker, with an eye for improving marketing efficiency and measuring marketing effectiveness.

    + Experience managing marketing budgets and contributing to P&L performance.

    + Exceptional communicator, acting as the voice of the consumer at all times.

    + Excellent project management skills.

    + Proven ability to influence and drive results in a matrix organization.

    + Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

    + Dynamic leadership and relationship-building skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Experience in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies.

    + Some business travel may be required for agency meetings, customer visits, industry events, etc. (Estimate percentage of travel < 10%).
