Computer Systems Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are actively seeking to identify personnel to join our team of talented professionals who possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support us and the 492d Special Operations Wing.
The 492d Special Operations Wing (492 SOW) provides advisory and assistance services for operations support, plans and programs, logistics, contingency operations, intelligence, security, training, and aircrew support. Due to continuous contingency operations, deployment commitments, training requirements, transition to a Power Projection Wing and move to Davis Monthan, AZ, the 492 SOW needs support to continue to meet Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) taskings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provide Wing leadership and Wing staff, at Hurlburt Field network/communication (COMM), support including, teleconferencing support, repair, troubleshooting, asset management, and account management.
+ Provide planning support to move COMMs from Hurlburt Field to DM and ensure connectivity at both locations.
+ Provide critical on-demand support to wing leadership, ensure Non-secure Internet Protocol Router and Secret Internet Protocol Router devices are current and up to date, and address system quarantines in the case of "spillage."
+ Manage the 492nd SharePoint online site. This includes creating and managing the site(s), configuring site settings, managing user access, and maintenance of the site, reporting security incidents and executing corrective security procedures.
+ Process requests for organizational box certifications, conduct in-processing procedures for new users to ensure access to all share drives, distros and organizational boxes.
+ Remove and replace telephone instruments, install and troubleshoot all issued mobile email access, and troubleshoot/service classified blackberry enterprise service devices.
+ Perform client-level Personal Wireless Communication Systems functions except for land mobile radios.
+ Provide programmatic computer administrations continuity to support the newly assigned units and mission sets being gained by the 492 SOW.
+ Develop new interagency support contacts and base organizational relationships in support of the 492 SOW's transition to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
+ S ecret security clearance
+ Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting, supporting and/or configuring all Microsoft products, VTC support and resolution of complex problems and administration of USAF NIPR-net systems
+ Network Security + and Security+ certification required at start of contract
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen
