    Description

    The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a **PostgreSQL Database Administrator** to work in **Woodlawn, MD**

     

    This position requires onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

    + Administration of PostgreSQL databases throughout the development and production lifecycles in a AWS environment.

    + Design and develop logical and physical database designs from customer requirements.

    + Provide advice and support to development resources.

    + Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures.

    + Supporting the standing standards, policies, and procedures of the customer team.

    + Provide mentorship to group members and will be expected to help develop and support mid and junior level staff.

    + May be scheduled for after hours on-call support and will be required to apply production packages during non-peak hours.

    + All other duties as assigned or directed.

    Education & Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a training-related field OR Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in a training-related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
