    Lifeguard - Anna, Ohio

     

    Part-time; up to 15 hours per week

     

    HealthFitness is looking for Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our corporate client site located in Anna, OH. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.

    Key Accountabilities

    + Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.

    + Enforce and explain rules as necessary.

    + Respond appropriately to any emergency.

    + Attend all required staff meetings and training.

    + Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by cleaning and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.

    + Maintain a professional attitude.

    + Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Must be at least 16 years old.

    + American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.

    + Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.

    + Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.

    + Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

    All lifeguards must be able to perform basic lifeguard skills consisting of:

    + 300 yard swim.

    + Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.

    + Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.

    + Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

     

    Compensation: $12/Hour - $14/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
