Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
+ Learn to assist APC Directors, how to code and direct shows.
+ Assist editors, producers & managers with the creation of content.
+ Learn to manage and clean up our server storage.
+ Assist in transcoding, archiving, restoring & purging media.
+ Learn to how to manage file workflows, ingest, metadata organization, and hardware issues.
+ Other learning opportunities may be assigned as needed.
+ Eager to learn.
+ Team player.
+ Self-Motivating.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
+ In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
+ Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
+ Must be available to work at least 30 hours per week.
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
+ Need to be able to work on-site in San Antonio, TX
Desire Qualifications
+ Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment, often under tight deadline pressures.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Bi-lingual English/Spanish communication proficiency.
