    This is a first shift position with potential for overtime and weekend hours as needed. The scheduled hours are 6AM to 2:30PM. Flexibility is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble units using various hand and power tools according to EH&S protocols.

    + Ability to read schematics/blueprints and/or standard work instructions, including access to windchill.

    + Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product testing and assembly.

    + Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.

    + Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.

    + Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.

    + High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.

    + Willingness to learn and comprehend multiple unit types within Final Wire.

    + Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed.

    + Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments.

    + Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.

    + Moving units sitting on aergo tables.

    + Working at heights of 15 feet on top of units while harnessed.

    + Using a hoist to lift heavy components into place to attach to the unit.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications

    + Ability to read blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments

    + Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches

    + 6+ months of experience in manufacturing assembly with Carrier

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Solid mechanical background

    + Experience with AC, Compressors, oil separators, etc.

    + Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
