The KYC Operations Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi focusing specifically on creating and developing client communication strategies when it is determined that information is needed from the client.

Responsibilities:

+ Review intake requests submitted by operational and risk leadership team members

+ draft high-level requirements for technology enhancement requests supporting letters, email, sms, and digital notifications for clients

+ Act as the liaison with ITBA, dev, and testing teams to ensure sprints are delivered timely and accurately

+ Coordinate with letter governance and content strategy team to identify requirements linked to new or changing client communications

+ Perform project management responsibilities, including producing project plans, conducting risk analyses and providing weekly updates for senior management, as needed

+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

+ 5-8 years of experience

+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
