Job Description:
Parsons is currently seeking a Facilities Support Specialist. This position is responsible for collaborating with government leadership to plan, document, and execute projects related to the building and upgrading of facilities to support Navy DSRC and High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) requirements. This role requires technical expertise in reviewing contractor-designed plans, providing recommendations on infrastructure suitability, and ensuring the resilience of critical infrastructure components.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Provide expert reviews of contractor-designed plans and specifications for facility modifications, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Assists in the review of HPC system and attendant systems for suitability in existing and planned facilities.
+ Assists in developing responses to data calls and information requests from DSRC and HPCMP leadership on facilities-related matters.
+ Assists the government with strategic facilities planning at both the HPCMP enterprise level and across other DSRCs as needed.
+ Assists the government in the determination of requirements and orchestration of the installation, integration, and ongoing operation of large-scale HPC systems and their supporting infrastructure, which may require the adaptation of designs to unique and challenging building environments.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in facilities management, particularly in high-performance computing environments.
+ Strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Excellent project planning and documentation skills.
+ Ability to provide expert recommendations on infrastructure and facility suitability.
+ Experience in managing complex deployments and ensuring critical infrastructure resilience.
+ Strong analytical skills for forecasting resource needs and developing long-term plans.
+ Effective technical writing and communication skills.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
