ARS is seeking a hands-on Facilities and Logistics Technician to manage the day-to-day operations of our innovation workspace environments. This role will ensure smooth operational functioning of physical facilities while providing critical support for events, technology demonstrations, and daily activities. The ideal candidate will combine technical facility management skills with strong customer service abilities to create and maintain professional, collaborative spaces that enable innovation and partnership development.

Responsibilities include:
+ Manage business and IT inventory including tracking, documentation, and shipping support
+ Provide access control and reception services at workplace locations
+ Coordinate conference room scheduling and usage
+ Configure and support audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations
+ Provide planning and day-of support for events and gatherings
+ Maintain daily presence as the public-facing representative at facility locations
+ Track visitor information and manage customer relationship data
+ Coordinate visit requests and scheduling with security protocols
+ Ensure proper functioning of facility equipment and systems
+ Coordinate with vendors for service delivery and maintenance needs
+ Manage shipping and receiving of equipment and materials
+ Support technology setup for virtual and hybrid meetings
+ Assist with space layout and configuration for various uses
+ Implement and maintain safety and security procedures
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
+ 2+ years of experience in facilities support, logistics, or customer service roles
+ Familiarity with basic audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshooting
+ Experience with inventory management and tracking systems
+ Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
+ Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
+ Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds
+ Flexibility to adjust work schedule for occasional evening or weekend events
+ Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
+ Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
+ Experience working in government or defense facilities
+ Knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements
+ Familiarity with visitor management systems and access control procedures
+ Experience supporting corporate or government events
+ Background in technology demonstration environments
+ Knowledge of safety and security protocols for secure facilities
+ Experience with digital collaboration tools and scheduling systems
+ Certification in A/V setup and support
+ Basic understanding of IT equipment and networking
