Job Description
This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of commercial lending experience. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
The Relationship Manager Sales Associate manages an assigned portfolio of municipal, corporate and/or commercial accounts throughout the United States. Responsible for overall client satisfaction and retention; compliance with government and bank regulations and rules, and aids in maintaining the bank’s reputational risk in the public sector or industry. Performs client outreach to provide account reviews, offer product solutions, and develop deeper client relationships. Will also work to support customer service inquiries and daily operational functions for assigned portfolio. Reviews and recommends objectives and procedures; administers policies as they affect the operational/product area. Manages client negotiations; pricing of the product within the target rate of return; proper documentation and closing the transaction; and compliance and conformance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Monitors and analyzes relationship plan results and account activities. Develops solutions for problem accounts.
This role does require the ability to travel for conferences and internal meetings.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
+ One or more years of commercial lending experience

+ Strong understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment
+ Advanced knowledge of applicable policies and procedures
+ Thorough knowledge of all organization products and operations
+ Strong organizational and managerial skills
+ Ability to work independently and in teams
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00 - $105,490.00
