    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a results-driven and collaborative Director of Operational Excellence to play a critical role in leading key projects and drive operational initiatives aimed at improving performance across our state markets.

     

    Reporting to the VP, Operations Excellence, this position will manage and coordinate high-priority projects—with an initial focus on the rollout of the More for More (M4M) operating model. The role involves partnering closely with field and corporate teams to improve business processes, support change management efforts, and drive accountability through the tracking of metrics and KPIs. The ideal candidate brings energy, organizational agility, and a passion for making meaningful improvements through project execution. This role is ideal for a strong project or program leader looking to expand into enterprise-level operational influence.

     

    *This is a remote position; however, the role requires ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

    _Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_

    + Lead and manage enterprise-level projects and initiatives that align with operational strategy, including the implementation of the More for More (M4M) model across markets.

    + Partner with IT Portfolio Management on automation identification, ROI, and execution

    + Provide ad hoc support and leadership for various operations projects driving outcomes

    + Support Operations management processes to ensure sequencing and outputs are clear

    + Collaborate with Market Leaders, Operations Directors, and Field Support Center (FSC) stakeholders to support project execution and adoption.

    + Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and manage cross-functional workflows to ensure timely delivery.

    + Drive the creation and adoption of metrics and reporting tools to measure project impact and performance.

    + Support executive-level reporting by gathering data, preparing materials, and providing status updates on key initiatives.

    + Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment and progress across teams.

    + Assist in developing presentations and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and private equity sponsors.

    + Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and supporting operational discipline.

    _Required Skills/Abilities:_

    + Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience building and tracking KPIs.

    + Ability to balance detail orientation with strategic, big-picture thinking.

    + Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, PowerPoint).

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a collaborative, consultative working style.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

    + Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and commitment to the highest ethical standards.

    _Experience:_

    + Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; master’s degree preferred

    + Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in project management, operations, or program leadership, preferably in healthcare or multi-site service organizations.

    + Experience supporting change management initiatives, including training delivery and stakeholder engagement.

    + Proven experience driving process improvement, including the development, review, and revision of processes and policies.

    _Physical Requirements:_

    + Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    + Ability to travel up to 50%; frequency may fluctuate based on business needs

    _Salary Range:_

    $130,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
