    BayCare is currently in search of our newest **Outpatient** **Speech Therapist** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Since 1985, **Mease Countryside Hospital** has been raising the standard of care for patients of all ages. Today, our 387-bed facility offers an unwavering commitment to the community. Nationally recognized for its clinical excellence, our award-winning facility features multiple Centers of Excellence, including women and children's services, heart, cancer, neurosciences and orthopedics.

    Speech Therapist** **Responsibilities:

    + Evaluates and develops plan of care to implement specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of the profession of Speech Language Pathology.

    + **Experience with these diagnoses:** Head and Neck Cancer, Parkinson’s, CVA

    + Voice evaluation/therapy experience preferred (Big part of our caseload)

    + LSVT LOUD certified

    + Familiar with EMST-150 and IOPI

    + AAC device evaluation (particularly with Lingraphica devices)

    + Modified Barium Swallow Study/Video Swallow Study interpretation experience

    + VitalStim/NMES Certification preferred

    + Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for therapists completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Speech Language Pathology students and volunteers.

    Requirements:

    + CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + Speech Therapy License

    + Required Master's Speech Therapy

    + Preferred Doctorate Speech Therapy

    + 1 year Clinical Related is preferred
