What we’re looking for:
What will be expected from you?
+ Access and navigate appropriate computer systems.
+ Perform daily responsibilities determined by Production Supervisor.
+ Perform routine inspections on Utilities when appropriate including boilers, cooling tower, air compressors, water softeners, wastewater, water systems, scrubbers, chillers, and nitrogen distribution looking for unusual conditions, hazards, improper operations and to complete associated checklists.
+ Perform routine inspections for Tank Farms when appropriate looking for unusual conditions, hazards, improper operations and to complete associated checklists.
+ Perform routine inspections for EO Unloading and Storage looking for unusual conditions, hazards, improper operations and to complete associated checklists.
+ Perform routine inspections for Unit 3200/3300 and associated utilities including Secondary Heating and Cooling Systems and Vacuum Systems looking for unusual conditions, hazards, improper operations and to complete associated checklists.
+ Perform packaging, railcar loading/unloading, truck loading/unloading, scaling in and out trucks and unloading of packaging materials from dropped trailers.
+ Perform LOTO, permitting and JSA’s for responsible area.
+ Participate on emergency response team and perform environmental sampling.
+ Collect process samples and execute unit cleanings for changing campaigns.
+ Operate BPA system for Unit 3200 BPA additions and F-3250 Candle Filter system for Unit 3200 Filtration.
+ Operate forklift, yard mule, and track mobile.
+ Due to significant experience level required for this position, leadership is expected and must serve as an example and resource for less experienced members.
+ Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
+ Complete packaging and bulk loading for customer orders
+ Complete General, Utility, Tank Farm, EO and Ethoxylation Production Training.
+ Set up and operate equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures with limited help from others.
+ Execute sampling and proper line-ups for product transfers.
+ Complete tank truck and railcar offloading/loading of raw materials and finished products.
+ Complete appropriate checklists on time and with attention to detail.
+ Participate in incident investigations.
+ Participate in troubleshooting when issues arise in responsible area.
+ Participate in PSSR review of changes that require MOC.
+ Execute educated, timely and safe decisions in the event of an emergency.
+ Prepare equipment for maintenance and/or project activities using applicable life safety procedures.
+ Report unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor or safety persons.
+ Enter service requests as necessary.
+ Execute EO unloading.
+ Collect process samples and execute unit cleanings for RE-201/T-301A, RE-301/T-301B, T-704A/B, T-801A/B, RE-360 and RE-760
+ Operate BPA system for Unit 3200 BPA additions and F-3250 Candle Filter system for Unit 3200 Filtration.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
+ HS Diploma or equivalent
+ New hire with minimum of 5 years of experience in general operations or internal promotion from Specialty Chemistry Production Technician II
+ Ethylene Oxide handling experience preferred
+ Knowledge of utilities; boilers, compressors, cooling towers, scrubbers
+ Solid reading comprehension skills
+ Sense of ownership – feels responsible for the process and its outcome
+ Accountability for results and enlistment of partners
+ Integrative Attitude across functional teams, partnering and sharing of information, experience and knowledge
