This role is critical to executing our unified cloud and app strategy, advancing quality, and achieving compliance at scale.
In this leadership role, you will guide the transformation of multiple cloud platforms into a unified, secure IoT ecosystem, optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability. Your leadership will directly influence customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and software security, while building a culture of excellence in quality across the organization. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to lead the engineering transformation in a global organization of multiple teams in delivering on business priorities while collaborating with development leaders and the CTO to define and advance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Engineering Governance
+ **Holistic Quality Framework:** Establish a comprehensive quality framework for cloud software, Mobile, Web Apps, AI models, and data processing, utilizing AI-driven testing and continuous verification to ensure proactive validation and early issue detection across the software lifecycle.
+ **Global Quality KPIs:** Define and track global KPIs, including uptime, defect density, MTTR, and reliability, to measure software quality and align engineering teams with business outcomes, driving continuous improvement.
+ **Cloud Software Validation Optimization:** Identify and address areas for improvement in cloud and apps software validation, implementing automated testing, load and stress testing, and refining strategies for scalable and high-performance systems.
+ **Continuous Improvement & Innovation:** Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating advanced automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven solutions to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.
Technology Strategy & Transformation
+ Lead the strategic transition to a unified, scalable IoT cloud ecosystem, optimizing for performance, cost, and security.
+ Drive the consolidation of multiple cloud platforms into a cohesive solution, aligned with the company’s one-app strategy for a seamless user experience.
+ Design and implement frameworks for cloud transformation, success metrics, and ROI.
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives and priorities.
+ Drive the adoption of agile methodologies, fostering innovation and speed in product development across teams.
Governance, Security & Compliance
+ Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and others.
+ Implement secure software development practices, such as DevSecOps and zero trust models.
+ Promote best practices for AI governance, cybersecurity, and data compliance across all engineering teams.
Team Leadership & Culture of Excellence
+ Lead and mentor a global, cross-functional team of engineers to achieve business priorities while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Develop and implement talent acquisition and development strategies to build high-performing teams.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence in software quality across the organization.
+ Drive change management initiatives, ensuring successful execution of engineering transformations.
+ Engage with cross-functional teams and executives to communicate progress, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications
+ **Experience:** 15+ years in software quality and engineering practices, with 10+ years of leadership experience managing software engineering or quality teams.
+ **Technical Skills:** Deep expertise in Azure cloud architectures, microservices, SaaS, DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
+ **Security & Compliance:** 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
+ **Leadership:** Proven ability to manage multiple senior leaders and large, geographically distributed teams. Experience leading transformations in global software organizations.
+ **Strategic Vision:** Ability to drive technical strategy, influence at the C-level, and deliver scalable solutions that align with business goals.
+ **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions to diverse audiences.
+ **Education:** BS in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Certifications in Agile (SAFe, Scrum), TOGAF, AWS/Azure, or DevOps.
+ Experience in leading large-scale digital transformations and data-driven decision-making
