A Glimpse of the job:
Facilities Operations Specialist, under general supervision, coordinates and monitors routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping to ensure each building is a comfortable and safe facility for faculty, staff, students, and guests. The facilities operations specialist will serve as the on-site project liaison, as you would provide meaningful communication, training and development, and education to our end users.

What You Need To Know
Salary: S tarting salary is $71,250. Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

This position is located in Dallas, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time. Candidate must be available for on-call duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such as Facility Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Four years of related experience in facility management, project management and quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiar knowledge with facility/construction management software including AggieWorks, Insight, AiM, e-Builder and Desigo.
+ Familiar knowledge with TAMU facility/ construction management and design protocols.
+ Experience working in medical teaching facility or hospital.
