• Atlassian Admin w/ Groovy Scripting

    Experis IT is partnered with the world's leading provider of secure financial messaging services in their search for an Atlassian Admin **with Python or Groovy Scripting** to join their team in Manassas, VA.

     

    *This role requires working onsite no less than 2 days a week in Manassas, VA*

    **Scope of work:** The role requires an in-depth knowledge of scripting and automation using languages like Python or Groovy to enhance services offered from within the Atlassian suite: Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets, Confluence, Bitbucket

    Main Required Skills:

    + Groovy scripting to automate service requests & business flows

    + Atlassian administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence) - both for Data Center and Cloud

    + Bitbucket source code management and administration (Data Center)

    + Redhat/Linux Administration

    + Basic understanding of running and troubleshooting applications within containers

    + Basic Governance, Risk, and Control experience is a plug

    Job Duties:

    + Automate, enhance, and troubleshoot services using Groovy (Scriptrunner application plugin)

    + Design, implement, and maintain business services and flows in the Atlassian Suite. This includes:

    + Setup and troubleshoot automation rules as well as jobs, listeners, endpoints, etc. whose backend logic is implemented as Groovy scripts

    + Creating and maintaining workflows

    + Benefits and limitations of Proforma form fields

    + Custom field configurations and impacts

    + Provide support to customer teams through Jira requests, document and understand requirements, seek clarification, and follow through with agreed outcomes

    + Experience with migration of an on-prem instance to the SaaS cloud offering is a plus
