    Stoney Point Meadows, a 95-unit senior living community, is hiring Full-Time EVE and NOC and Part-Time Evening Trained Medication Aides (TMAs) to join our team!

     

    Our campus is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to idyllic views, staff enjoy being close to shopping, entertainment, and medical services. Our six-acre campus is located on Stoney Point Road and 16th Ave; easily accessible!

    There are Full-Time and Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working a varied schedule.

     

    Full-Time Shift: EVE 3pm - 11:30pm AND NOC 11pm - 7:30am

     

    Part-Time Shift: EVE 3pm - 11:30pm

    What does a Trained Medication Aide do?

     

    + Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Stoney Point Meadows policies.

    + Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.

    + Review and follow a written care plan.

    + Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.

    + Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.

    + Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.

    + Perform other duties as requested.

     

    What does a Trained Medication Aide require?

     

    + Current Iowa Nursing Assistant certification required.

    + Must hold current TMA certification in Iowa.

    + Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

    + Must be able to stand for length of 8-hour shift.

    + Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.

    + Must be reliable, kind, and compassionate.
