    Oracle Apps DBA

     

    10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, with at least 3+ years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (12.1.x/12.2.x).

     

    • Strong expertise in managing and maintaining Oracle 2-node RAC environments on ASM.

    • Experience with Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery (physical standby setups, switchover/failover operations).

    • Proficient in performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies (RMAN), patching, and cloning EBS environments.

    • Familiarity with EBS application tier components (Concurrent Managers, Workflow, Forms/Reports, OACORE).

    • Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments and scripting for automation and monitoring tasks.

    • Experience with EBS R12 online patching (ADOP) and applying CPU/PSU patches.

    • Solid understanding of Oracle networking, listener configuration, and troubleshooting.

    • Ability to work in 24x7 production environments, including on-call support and weekend maintenance.

    • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
