Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER – Legacy Trails in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained

+ Possess strong communication skills

+ Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Incentive/Position Details:

+ 24 hours of physician coverage

+ Physician shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a

+ 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage

+ 1099 position - up to 120 hours available

+ Meditech EMR

Methodist ER Legacy Trails and Methodist Healthcare System:

+ Full-service radiology, laboratory, and telemetry

+ Benefits of immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical

+ 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases

+ Stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio
