    Caring Transitions of Lancaster is a locally owned, mission-driven business dedicated to serving seniors and their families during life’s most challenging transitions. We specialize in providing comprehensive downsizing, decluttering, relocation, and estate liquidation services. Our goal is to ease the stress during what can be a difficult and overwhelming time for our clients.

     

    We are hiring for a Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will be responsible for contacting and establishing new referrals and qualified leads within Lancaster County.

     

    The overall goal of this position is to drive lead generation, develop and maintain referral partners and relationships in the market, and create new opportunities for the franchise owner. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow a new local business and support the community.

     

    This is a perfect opportunity for semi-retired/retired (teachers, nurses, law enforcement, military) or stay-at-home caregivers looking for flexible and meaningful work in Lancaster County.

    Major responsibility areas:

    + Work within our service area to identify and develop potential referral partners.

    + Identify, manage, and develop referral sources and educate those sources on franchise services and programs and clearly differentiate us from competitors. Actively pursue opportunities by email, phone, and in person with local travel within Lancaster County.

    + Promote our services to Senior Communities, real estate professionals, family law attorneys, and related businesses.

    + Manage and improve lead generation, and assist in converting leads to sales.

    + Schedule and present at trade shows, public education events, and networking events to increase brand awareness.

    + Support and utilize sales tools such as branded materials, social media, sales development training and webinars, and email campaigns.

    + Work with franchisee owner to identify and establish business needs.

    + As a new small business, there will be opportunities to be involved in client jobs or other duties as assigned to grow this small business in Lancaster County.

    Job requirements include:

    + High School Diploma required.

    + Minimum 2 years experience, sales or marketing preferred or equivalent training or related work experience

    + Strong communication skills and English proficiency required (written and verbal)

    + Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a rapport with business partners and clients

    + Positive mindset and strong sense of purpose with capacity to develop a passion for the mission and vision of the franchise

    + Reliable mode of transportation

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Motivated, self-starter

    + Experience with senior communities a plus

    + Previous sales and/or marketing experience a plus

    + Familiarity with CRM tools preferred

    + Proficient in or Google Sheets, Docs, Slides

    + Must undergo a pre-employment background check

    Compensation:

    $15-$18/hour (dependent on experience) plus performance-based incentives. Training will be provided. Part-time position expected to have 10-15 hours per week with specific days and times scheduled by BDR. We do expect you to meet in person with referral partners during their business hours.
