Prior Hotel Front Desk Experience is a MUST! This is an 11pm - 7am shift.
Are you a night owl with a knack for numbers and top-notch guest service? We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Night Auditor** to be the overnight star of our newly renovated hotel!
At Embassy Suites Hotel - Hot Springs, we’ve just undergone a stunning transformation — and now we’re looking for team members who are as polished and welcoming as our fresh new look. Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.80 - Depending on prior relatable experience.
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Night Auditor is to provide guests with an excellent hotel experience while functioning as the sole Front Office Associate during the overnight shift.
Work Performed:
The Night Auditor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
+ Maintainaccurate accounts of cash, checks, and credittransactions;
+ Provide accounting support to the hotel by ensuring all revenues are posted to the correct department,balance the guest ledger on a daily basis and complete all necessaryreports;
+ Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree ofintegrity;
+ Address guest complaints, issues and/or requests in friendly and professional manner,taking initiative to resolve all issuesand ensuringthat all matters are resolved orescalated to the appropriaterepresentative;
+ Provide reportsto management about asset utilization and auditresults;,
+ Work proactively torecommend changes in operations and financialactivities;
+ Manage daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeepingreport;
+ May be required to make management decisions in a manager’sabsence;
+ Effectively utilize excel, workbooks, and access to submit reports to corporate office asappropriate;
+ Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets; and
+ Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required** **Prior Experience:
Six (6) months of Front Office experience in hotel environment.
Prior experience performing basic accounting duties
Required** **Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Licenses/ Certification:
Valid state driver’s license and adhere to all company guidelines regarding moving violations (if role involves operating company vehicle).
Required Technology:
Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data, or process information
Physical:
Able to stand and/or walk for duration of schedule shift
Other:
Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
