    Knowledge of established buried/bore cable installation procedures and techniques. Be familiar with wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.

    Responsibilities:

    + Extensive knowledge of directional drilling operations

    + Must be proficient with drilling equipment and knowing its capabilities and limitations

    + Experience with drill set up and design processes

    + Must be able to develop and maintain a bore schedule

    + Must have good troubleshooting and problem solving skills

    + Must be very safety conscientious and involved in new site Job Safely Analysis – JSA’s prior to starting construction

    + Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities

    + Safely operates directional drills on jobsite

    + Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the jobsite

    + Demonstrates job skill, procedures and techniques to crew members

    + Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up

    Qualifications:

    + Strong technical knowledge of directional drilling operations.

    + 5 years of directional drilling experience

    + Valid Driver's license required, Class A CDL preferred

    + Ability to drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner

    + Ability to meet critical deadlines under stressful conditions

    + Highly organized and the ability to multitask

    + Ability to accurately measure distance, using tapes or other measuring devices
