    Dealership Accountant I

     

    Dealership Accountant is a n entry level position that ensures timely , accurate and consistent recording of dealership transactions. Attention to detail is required . High performers will build upon their accounting & financial acumen while also building relationships and influential leadership skills . This will serve them well on a path to a Dealership Accountant Role or if coupled with Automotive and Business acumen on the path to a Business Manager .

    Position Overview

    Area of Responsibility

    + Responsible for reviewing source data and processing documents for data for entry purposes.

    + Key data from source documents into the system

    + Researching and responding to questions from Business Managers and Parts Managers

    + M aintain logs for tracking purposes.

    + The ability to analyze data and accurately determine appropriate accounting methods is required .

    + Continuously update and manage the accounting coding spreadsheet.

    + R econcile the general ledger with the factory's inventory to identify any missing items.

    + Other duties as assigned.
