• CNA - Med/Surg PRN

    Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities on all age groups of patients.

    Reports to: Charge Nurse, Department Director and/or House Supervisor

    *Required Skills*

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

     

    *Required License/Certification*

    Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

    Active Nursing Assistant licensure in the Commonwealth of VA

    *Minimum Education*

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    *Minimum Work Experience*

    At least one year of previous experience as a Nursing Assistant desired
